Russ Hiser Memorial Golf Tournament
The 15th Annual “Bullet” Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Cedar Creek in Onalaska to honor the memory of our departed friend and golfing buddy Russell Lee Hiser aka “The Bullet”.
Russ was a charter member of Cedar Creek and shared a deep passion and love for the game of golf with all of us. He worked extremely hard to constantly improve his game. Russ was a fierce competitor yet enjoyed the camaraderie of the guys more than anything else. He was the consummate gentleman on and off the course. It was always a pleasure, as well as entertaining to have the “Bullet” in your foursome.

Time: 11:00am Registration – 12:30pm Shotgun
Format: 2-Person Best-Ball. 80% Handicap. Choose your own partner, or we can pair you up.
White Tees – 65 & Younger
Gold Tees – 66 + (Optional)
Red Tees – Women
Cost: Cedar Creek Members $75* | Non-Members $100*
*Includes Golf, Cart, Boxed Lunch, Dinner, 2 Drink Tickets, & Prizes.

Proceeds from the “Bullet” Memorial Tournaments go to fund the Summer Golf Clinic, FREE golf for youth golfers that pass a skills exam, SNAG Golf, the La Crosse Middle School Golf Program, the La Crosse High School Golf Teams, the Junior Golf Programs at UWL, and The Russ Hiser Junior Golf Tournament Series (4 tournaments in 2026).
